For the first time in Maccabiah history, Expo Tel Aviv was transformed into Maccabiah City – a vibrant Olympic-style village that brought the excitement of the Games beyond the competition venues.

Over five unforgettable days, thousands of visitors of all ages enjoyed a unique celebration of sport, innovation and Israeli spirit, featuring live competitions, interactive attractions, family activities, inspiring exhibitions, cutting-edge sports technology, appearances by Olympic athletes, Ninja stars and leading gamers, a massive sports market, and a food boulevard showcasing the flavors of Israel.

Among the highlights were the Kids Challenge obstacle course; a unique indoor Sports Stadium featuring exhibition matches, professional tournaments, beach sports and the Israel Ninja Championship; an action-packed Gaming Arena; a special KKL-JNF climbing wall that challenged visitors to reach new heights; and an exciting mix of live shows and expert-led workshops for the whole family - from hula hoop, jump rope, breakdance and acro balance, to hip hop classes inspired by viral TikTok dances, and professional Krav Maga workshops.

Visitors also had the opportunity to explore the brand-new World Jewish Sports Museum, created in collaboration with ANU- Museum of the Jewish People, the Olympic Committee of Israel and the World Jewish Sports Museum. Through interactive exhibits and inspiring stories, families experienced the remarkable history and legacy of Jewish sport.

More than just a festival of sport, Maccabiah City reflected the vision of Maccabiah 2026: creating a place where athletes, families, the wider Israeli public, and guests from around the world could come together to celebrate excellence, community and Jewish pride - More Than Ever.
