Even in the midst of uncertainty, Maccabi’s next generation is proving that resilience, unity, and community are stronger than ever.

These days, participants of Maccabi leadership programs in Israel - alongside a group that managed to arrive just days before the outbreak of the war - have come together as one united group, proud to be here in these historic times, while sending a powerful message of Jewish strength to the world.

Currently based in protected apartments in Tel Aviv, they continue their journey through meaningful activities, volunteering, sports, and shared experiences -  including a joyful visit to the Dead Sea, one of the country's most unique and peaceful landscapes - all while staying safe and supported.

This inspiring group includes participants of the Shnat Hachshara program from Venezuela, Mexico, and Spain, who arrived in early September and are expected to remain in Israel until June. After completing their kibbutz experience and educational training – focused on Zionism, Jewish identity, leadership, and Holocaust studies - they are now beginning a new chapter of volunteering in Tel Aviv.

Joined by 9 additional participants of the ISE – Israel Start-Up Experience program, who arrived shortly before the war, they are now forming a strong and supportive community of young leaders aged 17–18, building new friendships, deepening their connection to Israel, and living the values of the Maccabi movement every day.

While we are deeply proud of each one of them, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the remaining 26 participants from Panama and Argentina, who will join as soon as flights to Israel resume. In addition, approximately 70 more participants of Shnat Hachshara Darom from Uruguay, Chile, and Argentina are expected to arrive in the coming months.

Even in the most complex times, these young leaders remind us what the Maccabi spirit truly means - standing strong and moving forward together, no matter what.
