In Guatemala City, something special lit up the night: runners from the Israeli Embassy and the local Jewish community took part in the city’s annual Night Run – proudly wearing shirts branded with Maccabiah 2025.
It wasn’t just a race but a celebration of Jewish pride, the power of sports, and the Maccabiah spirit, reaching all corners of the globe, building new connections, and inspiring communities worldwide.
“Sports are one of the most powerful tools to bring people together and build bridges,” said Alon Lavi, Israel’s Ambassador to Guatemala. “We were proud to share the values of the Maccabiah and highlight the unity between our nations at the Night Run.”
