Each ambassador is a champion in their field, a trailblazer with remarkable achievements, a deep Zionist spirit, and unwavering perseverance and dedication.
The Maccabiah 2025 Ambassadors:
Peter Paltchik – Olympic bronze medalist (Paris 2024), team bronze medalist (Tokyo 2020), former European champion, and world championship medalist in judo.
Raz Hershko – Olympic silver medalist (Paris 2024), reigning European champion, and world & team competition medalist (Tokyo 2020).
Asaf Yasur – Paralympic taekwondo champion (Paris 2024), two-time world champion, and European champion— an inspiration to athletes everywhere.
Moran Samuel – Former basketball player turned world-class rower, Paralympic champion (Paris 2024), silver medalist (Tokyo 2020), Paralympic medalist (Rio 2016), and a board member of Maccabi World Union.
Artem Dolgopyat – One of Israel’s greatest athletes of all time, Olympic champion (Tokyo 2020), Olympic silver medalist (Paris 2024), world champion, and two-time European champion in floor gymnastics—putting Israel on the global gymnastics map.
