Adi Ratzon, the head of the Maccabiah Camp Experience project, and Marshall Einhorn, CEO of Maccabi USA, proudly represented this unique program at the Leaders Assembly, a premier conference for Jewish camps in Chicago hosted by the Foundation for Jewish Camp. After the remarkable success of Summer 2024, with over 1,000 campers across seven camps, the program has already garnered even greater interest and enthusiasm for the upcoming year.

Maccabiah Camp Experience aims to bring the world’s premier Jewish sports event—the Maccabiah—to Jewish communities across North America. And what better place to begin than at Jewish summer camps?
A special delegation of elite Maccabi athletes from Israel and around the world will lead exclusive clinics in sports like basketball, soccer, and karate. The athletes will share their techniques and insider tips, offering campers the chance to train like champions, develop new skills, receive personalized expert feedback, and enhance teamwork through dynamic sports activities.
Campers will also delve into the rich history of the Maccabi World Union and the Maccabiah and connect with a global network of Jewish athletes. The day will culminate in a traditional torch ceremony, a cherished Maccabiah tradition. Each camper will be awarded a commemorative medal designed exclusively for the Maccabiah Camp Experience, honoring their achievements and connection to the Maccabiah legacy
