On October 7Th, Liron Barda, a member of the Nova party, had the option to escape for her own safety. However, she chose to stay, providing courageous medical care and support to the wounded until her last moment. "The One Who Stayed" is the first song to be released as part of the "Heroes" project.
The "Heroes" project, spearheaded by singer and songwriter Gilad Segev, is a non-profit initiative celebrating Jewish heroism through music and stories. From the days of Abraham to contemporary times, the project aims to reshape perceptions of the Jewish people by highlighting their enduring acts of bravery and resilience.
