Gearing Up for Maccabiah 2025!

In a letter to heads of confederations, TOs, and delegations, MWU and Maccabiah leadership expressed their unwavering commitment: "These days, Israel conducts itself with resilience, patience, and determination. All efforts will be made to make the biggest, fullest scale and most meaningful Maccabiah ever, as the Jewish people want and need it to be”. 

Monthly Delegations Meetings 

Monthly Zoom meetings will now bring together Maccabiah headquarters, delegation heads, and global representatives to keep everyone informed. The first meeting was a great success, with over 140 participants enthusiastically joining. 

A New Era of the Maccabiah Athlete Experience

Maccabiah 2025 will begin long before the games and leave a lasting impact afterward. We’re developing a comprehensive, 360-degree experience, combining in-person exciting events with cutting-edge digital platforms.

More Than Sports

Maccabiah 2025 will also feature meaningful tours across Israel’s northern and southern regions along with various  volunteer opportunities to foster solidarity.

Junior Maccabiah - More Than Ever! 

This year, with a record-breaking number of participants, the Junior Maccabiah Games will, for the first time ever, take place across two main centers:

• Haifa & the North
• Netanya & the Sharon Area

In another historic first, the international sports committee has approved up to two teams per country in team sports. This exciting change is designed to enhance the experience,  foster diversity and create lasting connections among young athletes from around the world.
