The Israeli MWF launches a new global catchball initiative

As part of Maccabi Women's Forum's commitment to promoting an active, healthy, and empowering lifestyle for women and girls, we’re excited to introduce our new international initiative. In collaboration with the International Catchball Federation (ICF), we aim to establish new Catchball teams for women and girls in Maccabi communities around the world.
Catchball — a fast-growing sport originally developed in Israel – is a team game similar to volleyball, but instead of hitting the ball, players catch and throw it. This simple change makes the game accessible, fun, and inclusive, welcoming women of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds.

Today, Catchball is the most popular team sport among women in Israel — and now it’s spreading globally, combining physical activity with community connection.
