Just a month after their success at Paris Games, some of our exceptional athletes visited the Jewish Sports Museum at Kfar Maccabiah for a day filled with Jewish unity and proud

The Artistic Gymnastics Team, who won the Olympic silver medal, came to share their stardom with us. Adar Friedmann, Diana Svertsov, Ofir Shaham, Romi Paritzky, and Shani Bakanov were deeply moved by the tour and the impressive stories of other Jewish athletes who have achieved remarkable feats over the years.

With their new medals proudly displayed, they eagerly explored the museum’s treasures, captivated by historical artifacts, engaging videos, and interactive exhibits. The team even took a memorable souvenir photo with Linoy Ashram’s leotard—an Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics from Tokyo 2020, as well as a World Championship runner-up (2018, 2019) and European Champion (2020, 2021).

Asaf Yasur, our golden hero from the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, also delved into the rich legacy at the museum.  Yasur, whose journey reflects Jewish athletic triumph and spirit, won his first international medal In 2019, earning silver at the Mexico Para Taekwondo Open Championships. He is now a two-time  world champion in taekwondo (2021 and 2023).

We look forward to seeing all our inspiring sportsmen and women at the upcoming Maccabiah Games in July 2025!
