Maccabi Tzair in Israel is part of the Maccabi Israel Movement. Prior to their enlistment in the IDF, Maccabi Tzair graduates volunteer for a year of service in disadvantaged communities, assisting residents through educational enrichment, cultural activities and more. With this year of service, Maccabi Tzair represents the actualization of Maccabi ideals: Zionist, educational, non-partisan and ready to serve.
Maccabi Tzair and Maccabi-affiliated youth organizations are active in North America, Latin America and Europe. They constitute a leading force in informal Jewish education in dozens of countries, with tens of thousands of young members led by trained counselors. Nearly 2,000 of these counselors, from 20 countries, took part in MWU Education Department training seminars over the past 18 months.

Last Night (Thur) in Kfar Hayarok, the participants of the Junior Maccabiah Games came together to celebrate their involvement in this one-of-a-kind sporting event.
