The Maccabi World Union (MWU) offers a variety of adult educational opportunities, which are customized to the needs of local communities on six continents. These opportunities are targeted towards adult segments like singles, couples, or entire families, and they range in duration from a few days up to three weeks.
Many of these programs include international components, which enable participants to liaise with their counterparts in other regions of the world. MWU does its utmost to schedule these activities at times of year when active parents will be most available to travel.
Although our educational programs are indeed entertaining and enjoyable, they are optimized to foster participants’ connections with their heritage. To this end, community-specific educational trips are often built around themes, such as the Holocaust, or Sephardic Jewry, for example.
Adult education with MWU also allows for participants to explore their Jewish identity via adult-oriented sport tournaments. A recent tournament in Argentina, for example, drew over 3000 participants.

At this years Masters Maccabiah tournament, the Veteran Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball team took to the courts to prove once again the club’s immense capabilities. Comprised of some of the club’s oldest and most successful players.
